Entrapment Binders
Entrapment binders are two pieces of 110pt minimum thickness chipboard wrapped with vinyl and fitted with three metal rings in the middle to hold documents. Then, in a process known as entrapment, four-color printed sheets are created on a digital press and permanently sealed into the binder’s panels during construction.
Custom Entrapment Binders

Entrapment binders come in 13 different colors, feature a suede-like vinyl finish and use three metal rings in the center to hold standard sized hole-punched documents in place. Inserts printed with your custom design are placed into clear heat-sealed pockets on the binder’s vinyl covers and rigid spine, showcasing unique images or prominently displaying company logos. Choose between a left-aligned, right-aligned or two-pocket arrangement depending on where you would like highlighted documentation to appear.
Select a left-oriented pocket design to display pertinent information including outlines, mission statements and syllabi in the front of the binder or a right-oriented pocket design to surprise audiences at the end with promo items such as brochures. Consider a two-pocket design for packets that require extra print storage or to highlight important documentation at different stages in the presentation. The 3-ring metal binding mechanism provides stability while keeping the bulk of materials organized so that important information is always easy to find.
Common uses for entrapment binders include:
- Educational packets
