Goal
Swiss Crown USA needed a high-quality presentation folder for the company’s mailer marketing material.
Story
Swiss Crown designer Sarah Little needed a top-notch product to match her company’s lavish brand when she found it at Company Folders.
“I like how the folder is constructed,” Little said. “It’s simple and straightforward. In our case, that translated to elegant. Clearly, there is quality control because the foil stamping had no mistakes.”
Little discovered Company Folders by searching “foil stamped custom folders” on Google. She said it was the most reputable site of the other printers she looked at online that offered the product she needed.

“My company is putting together a mailer marketing campaign, and we wanted a folder that would make a solid first impression with our branding that would also match the luxury product we are selling,” she said. “We could have printed folders via [another printing company], but we would have lost the foil stamping and any material texture. Not to mention it’s very difficult to ensure quality with [other companies’] products.”
She decided to go with the Foil Stamped Letter Size Two Pocket Folder printed on 80lb Forest Green Felt with H1 business card slits on the right pocket. A metallic gold foil helped her to achieve the elegant look she was aiming for.
Though she wasn’t on a time crunch to receive her product, Little was pleased with her turnaround time. Her product was shipped less than a week after she requested a quote.
Unaware that Company Folders provides free samples, Little found she spent the most time during the design process when she was deciding on the stock.
“It was a little difficult to see the swatches of the folders online,” she said. “Since I wanted to match our company green, I wasn’t sure if the final product’s color would match what is displayed online. I also wasn’t sure what the texture was like, so I googled that paper stock to get an idea of what I’d be expecting.”
Still, the ordering process was simple overall, Little said.
“As soon as I placed my order, I spoke with one of the [Print Project Managers] from Company Folders who let me know what file requirements they had for my logo,” she said. “I gave a brief description about what I was looking for in terms of logo placement. The proof that was sent back to me was completed swiftly and didn’t need any tweaking.”

The only change she would make to the ordering process would be to include larger graphic swatches on the product page, eliminating her need to research paper stocks.
But Little said she would certainly recommend Company Folders to others.
“Being able to collaborate with a print professional not only makes me feel more confident as a purchaser, but it’s nice to relate to and get feedback from another person,” she said. “Of course, the final product came out exactly as intended. That doesn’t hurt!”
She also mentioned that the company is likely to reorder from Company Folders in the future.
“Our office really loves them,” Little said. “We haven’t heard any feedback on marketing that went out, but one of my bosses told me to hide them, so people won’t steal them.”
