Company Overview: First Baptist Church is a biblically based community in Bristol, Indiana that brings people together for worship services, ministries, missions and service projects.
Problem: Executive Assistant Laura Johnson needed to quickly obtain a presentation folder to hold teaching materials for a new ministry the church was starting.
Story: First Baptist Church was starting a new ministry and they needed a three-pocket folder to hold different teaching materials for each week of the class. The class was starting soon, and Executive Assistant Laura Johnson needed their custom folders in a hurry.
“We found Company Folders, Inc. through an internet search for places that print tri-fold folders,” said Johnson. “There are not very many.”
Johnson selected the 9×12 Tri-Panel 3 Pocket Letter Size Presentation Folder because they would allow them to put teaching materials for each week of the class in a different pocket.
Their communications director designed the folder, and the only snag was an image that Company Folders’ Print Project Director Jennifer Grubb deemed too low resolution to create the high-quality look Johnson wanted. “I knew they needed their church folders in a hurry, so we pulled out all the stops to get this straightened out as quickly as possible,” said Grubb.

Within one day, Grubb and Johnson resolved the artwork issue and Johnson was able to place the order.
“Once we had our design, the ordering was very easy. Everything is laid out step by step,” said Johnson. “The thing that most impressed me was your customer service. You guys walked us through some issues we were having with the quality of the file we sent you. We got phone calls and emails all along the way so that we knew how things were going. Thank you so much for that. Since it was our first time in ordering from you, that gave us a lot of confidence moving forward.”
After Johnson placed the order, Grubb kept an eye on the process to make sure they would arrive when needed.
“We were facing a time crunch when we contacted Company Folders because we didn’t decide on the idea of the tri-fold folders for a while,” said Johnson. “We contacted you and told you we needed the folders by the beginning of our class which you said you could do, but the folders showed up two weeks early!”
With plenty of time to spare before the class, Johnson had time to share them with the rest of the FBC staff.
“When the folders came this week, I showed them to several people in our office and everyone thought they looked so professional. It was exactly what we were hoping for!” said Johnson. “We will definitely be ordering more presentation folders again.”
