  1. Thanks! Much appreciated.

  2. Amy Harris says:

Is there anyway of putting a different image on each layer at all? This is great though but would love to make each one different?

    • Hi Amy,

Yes, you should be able to make each folder unique. If you are using Photoshop, look at the “layers” in the toolbar on the right side. There will be a cover layer, a background layer, and a third option that says “Folders.” If you click the dropdown icon next to Folders, you should be able to see each of the folders in the stack and work with them individually. Hope this helps!

      • I’ve found the folders and each cover within the folders, but the same smart object file opens with every different cover within this section. So I add an image to (1), then it appears on all the covers. I go into (2) cover and the same image appears in (2) as it does in (1). No matter what I try the same image appears across all covers.

        • The mockup is created to show only one design on all covers, so if you change one cover, all will change. However, if you need different designs on different covers, you can do the following:

          1. Find the layer of the cover you need in the layers panel.
          2. Right-click your mouse on your chose layer and select “New Smart Object via Copy.”

If you put a design on this copy, it will only change here. You can delete the previous layer from which you made the copy.
