Custom Business Postcards: Sending Success, One Card at a Time

Postcards have been traced back as early as 1840 and have been used in some capacity by every postal service introduced. Many of the first postcards were either blank card stocks or photos with written messages and used for promotional purposes. Due to their economical nature, timeliness, customizability and ease of distribution, postcards are still a staple in modern marketing campaigns. Because they can be sent through the mail without a stamp or envelope, they are an effective visual marketing tool that recipients do not need to open and often cost less to send than letters or other printed media.

Our postcards range in size from 4x6 to 6x11 and use four-color offset printing, including a glossy UV coating, to showcase your advertising message in a portrait or landscape layout. The back of the postcard can be left blank for written messages or customized with the same high-quality four-color printing process. Use the front and/or back panels to provide recipients with relevant information including an address, web url, business hours, important dates, personal greetings and promotional coupons. Enhance your card design with stylish options that allow you to provide a unique way to reach your target audience.

Tips for Creating Postcards

  • Keep your design simple and on target. Limit text to eye-catching phrases such as "Free", “Sale” or "50% Off" and limit text styles to ones that are easy to read.
  • Get the attention you deserve by creating a unique design with options including die-cuts, rounded corners and specialty print finishes.
  • The front cover of your postcard is printed using four-color processing and a layer of ultraviolet (UV) coating to add a shiny effect to your design.
  • The back cover has no coating and can be left blank or printed in either black ink or four-color processing.
  • Design your postcard using either the portrait or landscape orientation, depending on what works best for the information and graphics you want to include.
  • Postcards contain recycled materials, making them an excellent part of an eco-friendly marketing strategy.
