Designed with maximum durability in mind, poly (aka plastic binders) are made using a solid sheet of rigid polyethylene plastic folded and scored to create two panels. A steel three-ring binding mechanism in the center holds documents in place, while the outside panels can be imprinted with custom designs. The result is a strong yet flexible customized binder ideal for outdoor and industrial settings.
Available in 1/2", 3/4", 1", 1 1/2", 2", 2 1/2" sizes, custom made poly material binders are easy to clean because of their resistance to stains. They can be fitted with organizational accessories including binder dividers to organize pages, printed inserts for promotional use, or a die-cut window to offer a preview of binder contents. Poly binders can stand up to heavy use and abuse, which makes them the ideal choice for the warehouse, classroom, kitchen or outdoors.
Tips to Maximize Your Plastic Binder Customization
- Select .023 or .035 gauge stock for ring sizes under 2 inches.
- Accommodate 2" to 4" ring sizes with thicker .055 gauge stock to prevent the binding mechanism from damaging the panels.
- Imprint intricate or especially large designs on thick stock to ensure they don't show through on the opposite side of the panel.
- Choose a binder with pockets to increase carrying capacity and store extra content.
