About Design
Colibri is a manufacturer of fine smoking accessories and gifts for sophisticated men since 1928. This slip-in photo folder frame was created to commemorate the brand’s involvement in a 2008 trade show event while simultaneously celebrating the brand’s 80th year of business. The logo features art deco influences which gives the audience a sense of nostalgia and promotes the brand as timeless and classic.
Instead of red stock, the design utilizes red ink so that portions of the photo folder can be left white, such as the font, logo and inside left panel. This allows the red to draw the audience’s attention to the most important elements, which are the cover and branded frame.
