Art Preparation FAQ
This section addresses submitting artwork for reproduction, using your own artwork to create custom designed products and how using our templates, you can create a unique and memorable product that reflects you or your company brilliantly.
Can I use my own artwork?
Yes. We accept your own artwork and will work with you to create a look that is unique and perfect for business or personal use. We accept all MAC and MAC-compatible files in acceptable programs such as; Quark Xpress, Pagemaker, Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, FreeHand and CorelDraw. Unacceptable formats are MS Word, Publisher and PowerPoint.
Can I send my artwork by email?
Files under 10MB in size can be sent to prepress@companyfolders.com. Please note on your order form that you are emailing in your artwork and label the email for proper identification to the order.
My file is larger than 10MB, how can I send it to you?
If files are larger than 10MB, they can be submitted to us through the file uploader on the website.
Are card slots available?
Yes, Business card slots can be applied to most items available through Company Folders. For more information, please contact us directly.
Can I change the standard copy on a folder design?
Depending on the design, changes can often be made. Most changes incur additional charges. Call us before placing your order and we will assist you.
Can I order different designs for one total quantity break price?
Yes this can be done. Please contact us to discuss how we can simplify your order and provide you with the best options and pricing possible.
Can I completely design my own folder copy?
Yes you can. You can submit a mock-up and we can quote typesetting composition charges or you can submit camera ready art or films. Call us prior to placing the order and we will assist you.
What if I don’t see a design for my industry?
Call and tell us what you are looking for. We have hundreds of available designs. We will do our best to meet your needs. If we do not have a design available, we will work with you to create a custom folder design to meet your needs.
Can I create a custom folder?
You can use one of our style folders and add your own custom artwork to create unique folders specific to your business. Also, we can design a folder style for you that encompasses your artwork while utilizing a custom template.
